The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is assisting Western Australian primary industries affected by flooding in the Fitzroy River catchment, as part of a whole-of-government response to the severe weather event.
This once-in-a-century flood has significantly impacted stations, stock and pastoral enterprises.
Assistance includes the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements WA and the State Support Plan for Animal Welfare in Emergencies.
