Mr Warner has more than 30 years鈥 experience in senior leadership roles Commonwealth and West Australian public sectors, as well as the private sector, and boasts strong credentials in policy and strategy development.

As an avid recreational cyclist, Mr Warner is eager to provide the leadership and guidance required to implement and support the State鈥檚 road safety strategy and reduce road trauma on WA roads.

鈥淲e鈥檙e a small agency and that means there鈥檚 great energy,鈥 he said.

鈥淭he Road Safety Commission is well regarded, and social purpose is one of the things that drives me, so between us, I am confident we make positive change and reduce road trauma in WA.

鈥滿r Warner will report to Minister for Road Safety, Hon Michelle Roberts MLA, who is looking forward to working with the new Commissioner.
