A vehicle or tank transporting bulk controlled waste on a road in Western Australia must hold a valid controlled waste vehicle/tank licence issued under the Environmental Protection (Controlled Waste) Regulations 2004. Tanks that are removable and can be attached to more than one vehicle or trailer, may need to display a unique tank identification number, issued by the department.
