The Gnangara Mound is the largest and most important shallow underground water resource in the Perth region. It contains substantial supplies of water which are required to meet current and future public water demands.
This strategy examines existing land uses and the impacts on water quality and potential risks of contamination. It makes recommendations on the types of land uses and land zoning that are appropriate in the strategy area.
