The plan covers the groundwater resources of the superficial Broome Sandstone aquifer (uppermost aquifer) in the La Grange north and south subareas and a portion of the Canning Pardoo subarea covered by the Mandora Marsh management zone.
The plan has been developed to manage groundwater resources in the La Grange area to maintain environmental, social and cultural values while providing for the sustainable use of water for commercial and stock and domestic use.
