This drinking water source protection plan has been developed to help protect the quality of water in the Leeuwin Spring Catchment and Fisher Road Wellfield Water Reserve to ensure the supply of safe drinking water.
The plan details the location and boundary of the drinking water catchment, which provides potable water to the town of Augusta. It describes the water supply system, discusses existing and future land uses, identifies risks, and recommends management approaches to address those risks and maximise protection of the catchment.
