This water allocation plan is designed to provide the department's direction for the allocation and licensing of the ground and surface water resources in the plan area. The plan will state the volume of water that is available for use and the rules that are in place to manage the risks to supply.
The Lower Gascoyne water allocation plan was finalised in October 2011.
