The Avon River Management Authority initiated detailed management planning for the main trunk of the Avon River from Brookton town site to Walyunga.
For the purposes of management planning, this part of the river has been divided into 18 sections.
This river recovery plan covers River Section 3, which lies between Goomalling Bridge and Deepdale Road.
