Local governments are required to report on the implementation of their waste plan annually using the local government waste plan report in Waste Data Online.
The purpose of annual waste plan reports is for local governments to demonstrate that they are delivering or making progress towards delivering their waste services in a manner consistent with the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030 (waste strategy).
