This publication reports on people who were killed in a crash on WA roads or road-related areas that are open to the public. This excludes deliberate, premeditated acts that intended to cause harm, such as suicide. This also excludes crashes caused by a driver suffering a medical episode.
In this publication, a fatality is defined as a person killed either immediately, or within 30 days of the crash as a result of injuries sustained in that crash.
