This drinking water source protection assessment has been developed to help protect the quality of water in the Windy Harbour Water Reserve area to ensure the supply of safe drinking water.
The assessment details the location and boundary of the drinking water reserve, which provides potable water to the Windy Harbour town water supply. It describes the water supply system, discusses existing and future land uses, identifies risks, and recommends management approaches to address those risks and maximise protection of the catchment.
