Council of Regulators 

The Council of Regulators play a stewardship role in regulatory reform and work with the Streamline WA Steering Committee to ensure a free exchange of ideas about opportunities for improvement. The Council is guided by a Charter, the objectives of which are to:  

  • ease the administrative load on businesses and ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿; 
  • support digital transformation and online service delivery and improve proponent experience; 
  • improve and modernise parts of the legal framework; and 
  • strengthen cross sector collaboration and assist cultural change within agencies. 

The Council of Regulators includes:

  • Small Business Commissioner, Small Business Development Corporation
  • Deputy Director General, Department of the Premier and Cabinet (representing the Director General)
  • Assistant Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury (representing the Under Treasurer)

Streamline WA Steering Committee

The Streamline WA Steering Committee brings together government and private sector experience and expertise to provide a peak collaborative forum for modernising and streamlining regulation, regulatory practices, and timeframes. The Committee is guided by a Terms of Reference.
