Legacy WA

Legacy WA is dedicated to supporting the families of veterans and keeping the promise. Their services include relief from financial hardship, advice and referrals to support services, assistance with children鈥檚 education, encouraging friendships, and advocating for entitlements and services.

Royal Australian Air Force Association of Western Australia (RAAFA)

RAAFA retirement living units and apartments, assisted living units, residential care places, short stay accommodation units and is home to the Aviation Heritage Museum. They also support their members and veterans through existing welfare services and a range of homecare programs.

Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia WA Branch Inc (VVAA WA)

The Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia was formed in 1979 as a result of the perceptions held by Vietnam veterans; that exposure to chemicals was causing health problems for them and their children. The VVAA's sole interest is the welfare of veterans and the families of veterans.

Working Spirit

Working Spirit is a registered charity who supports and facilitates employment placements for veterans. They also provide access to facilitated networking events to connect veterans to business representatives and potential employers.

Veterans Transition Centre

The VTC is a not-for-profit registered charity that has a property in a natural bush setting on near Jarrahdale. They offer short-term accommodation for veterans and their families, assistance with transition to civilian employment, and counselling services.

The Royal Australian Regiment Association provides advice and guidance to its members and perpetuates the close bonds of comradeship created by service in the Royal Australian Regiment. They also preserve the memory of those members of the Regiment who have died on active and overseas service.

The Australian War Widows Inc. (formerly War Widows Guild of Australia Inc.) supports and advocates for all War Widows from all conflicts.

Kookaburra Kids

Kookaburra Kids was founded in the early 2000s and aims to empower young people to thrive beyond the impacts of family mental illness. They provide evidence- based, age appropriate prevention and early intervention mental health services embedded within a peer-based social and activity-based format.

Women Veterans Network Australia (WVNA) is Australia's oldest and largest not-for-profit charity association supporting women veterans. They connect and support past and present women who have served in the Australian Defence Force, their communities and ex-service organisations across Australia.

Connected By is a creative space for learning sharing and growing that provides current and ex ADF personnel, first responders, and the general public the opportunity to learn share and grow through engaging and challenging creative pursuits.
