Local Content Advisers

A key WAIPS objective is to maximise the participation of competitive regional businesses, and WA 黑料正能量 agencies are encouraged to increase their delegated spend in regional areas.

Local Content Advisers (LCAs) are available to provide advice to WA 黑料正能量 agencies in regional WA.

LCAs work closely with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) and use their local knowledge to provide agencies with:

  • Guidance on complying with the WAIPS and participation plans.
  • Feedback from small to medium sized enterprises on their experiences in competing for government supply opportunities.
  • Help in promoting upcoming major contracts in regional areas so that businesses in those regions have enough time to consider and prepare competitive bids.
  • Feedback to JTSI regarding any agency concerns.
