The WA Procurement Rules apply to all State agencies, as defined in the  

The Rules replace the State Supply Commission’s policies and apply to all types of procurement including goods, services and works.

The Western Australian Social Procurement Framework supports value for money factors in the Rules.

Note: The previous version of the Rules (in effect from 1 June 2021) was revoked and replaced by General Procurement Direction 2024/01 Western Australian Procurement Rules effective from 1 July 2024.  The superseded version of the Rules can be found on the Revoked: General Procurement Direction 2021/02 – Western Australian Procurement Rules page.
