This procedure outlines the processes we undertake to assess applications for works approvals or licences (an instrument) under Part V Division 3 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act), and to manage any consequently granted instrument(s).
This procedure applies to applications:
- for a new works approval (section 54 of the EP Act)
- for a new licence (section 57 of the EP Act)
- for an amendment to an existing instrument (section 59B of the EP Act)
- to surrender an existing instrument (section 59B of the EP Act)
- to transfer an existing instrument (section 64 of the EP Act).
